The Carolina’s Conference, hosted biennially by both the North Carolina and South Carolina Recreation & Park Associations, brings together parks and recreation professionals from across both states for an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Attendees will benefit from diverse educational sessions designed to enhance their knowledge and skills, while also exploring innovative solutions, products, and services showcased by exhibitors. This event fosters meaningful networking among peers, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration and idea-sharing. Join us as we work together to advance the field of parks and recreation!
CPRP Study Course
September 23, October 7 & 21, November 4

Join this four night virtual study group for professionals preparing to take the CPRP exam. Through live virtual sessions, get answers to questions, set a schedule for individual study, and review practice exams. Guest speakers and test taking strategies are included. Offered in the winter. The Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification is the national standard for all parks and recreation professionals. Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) Course
February 25 - 27
Goldsboro
This course is held in coordination with the National Recreation and Park Association. The CPSI certification aims to enable certified professionals to: identify hazards on playground equipment and the playground; rank the hazards according to injury potential; and utilize this knowledge to remove the hazards and establish a system of inspections and maintenance. Advanced reading and 10 hours of training will prepare you for the Certified Playground Safety Inspector. This is a three day course with the exam offered on day three. Traditionally offered February-March.
