Commercial Pools – Permitting and Compliance.  What you need to know for 2027 and beyond!

Join us for an in-depth look into the 2027 pool season and what changes are on the horizon.  Don’t get let spring opening catch you by surprise.

Brian Yarmon, Chief Operating Officer with Conner Construction will join us for a deep dive into compliance, paperwork and what’s new for the 2027 season.  His over 30 years of experience in the pool industry will help guide you through the permitting and compliance process in North Carolina.

Topics will include:

  • VGBA (Virginia Graeme Baker Act) Compliance
  • Gates and Fences
  • Flow Meter updates and requirements
  • Cyanuric Acid requirements and testing
  • Grounding and bonding. 
  • Permitting and upcoming changes in the NC Pool Code.

Who should attend?  This session is best suited for aquatic professionals and parks and recreation staff who are responsible for pool operations, maintenance, compliance, or seasonal pool preparation
