Join us for a dynamic two-day Athletics Professional Workshop (APW) tailored specifically for recreation professionals working in community programs, parks and recreation departments, youth athletics, and inclusive sport initiatives. This hands-on workshop is designed to equip you with the latest strategies, tools, and best practices to create impactful, engaging, and safe athletic programming for diverse populations.
Learn to design and deliver inclusive, age-appropriate, and community-centered athletic programs that promote lifelong participation and physical literacy. Gain insights from leaders in recreation, coaching, and wellness on topics including adaptive sports, volunteer engagement, behavior management, and equity in access to athletics. Participate in collaborative activities and real-life scenarios to improve your approach to coaching, risk management, and participant motivation. Network with peers, share experiences, and develop actionable takeaways to enhance your programs and leadership in recreational athletics.
