||Through a partnership with the North Carolina Recreation & Park Association, Kids in Parks funded 10 TRACK Trail locations at local park sites each year in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2012, we focused our efforts in the Western portion of the state. In 2013, we focused on the central portion of the state. And, in 2014, we focused on the eastern portion of the state.
During 2017, we will be partnering to fund additional Track Trails in various counties around the state. Applications will be accepted through September 1.
The eligible counties are: Alexander, Alleghany, Anson, Bertie, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Caswell, Cherokee, Chowan, Clay, Cleveland, Craven, Currituck, Davidson, Duplin, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Greene, Hoke, Hyde, Jackson, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Macon, Martin, Mitchell, Montgomery, Nash, Northampton, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Person, Richmond, Rowan, Sampson, Scotland, Tyrell, Union, Warren, Wilson, and Yadkin
