Professional Membership - $65
A Professional Member is a career professional by virtue of training and experience in the field of park and recreation services. A Professional Member may be nominated for NCRPA’s Board of Directors. Members are eligible for awards, member only event discounts, networking opportunities, learning communities and and other unique benefits
Agency Membership includes:
NCRPA Agency Membership - $175-$4,500
NCRPA Department Agency Package: This package is for State, County, Town and other Municipal Parks and Recreation Departments and is based on the number of permanent full-time employees in an agency. This membership includes all full-time employees in the agency. In addition once you purchase an agency package you will be eligible to register all appointed/elected board members (Parks and Recreation Board, Mayor and Council and Managers).

Student Members $10
North Carolina State University
College/University package. - $400
A College/University Agency Membership includes all faculty, staff and students at colleges and universities that have a parks and recreation (or related) curriculum. They will receive discounted exhibitor space at our Annual Conference and promotion via the NCRPA website. Students also working full-time in the field are NOT eligible for a student membership.
Retired Professionals - $20-$100
Professional Members are eligible upon retirement for the Retired Professional Membership. A Retired Professional Member shall have the same privileges and rights as the Professional Member. Retired professionals can join for one year at $20 or receive a Lifetime Retired Membership for $100. Agencies or individuals wishing to gift a lifetime membership to a soon to be or recently retired member can contact Membership@ncrpa.net. Retired members who work, consult or contract with commercial companies serving NCRPA members and are actively selling at NCRPA events may have their membership suspended if they do not properly register as an sponsor or vendor.
SWAC Sanctioned Organization — $55.00
Sanctioned Organization is an agency or organization providing services in the field of recreation, parks or a closely allied field. A SWAC Sanctioned Organization membership is required for any group wishing to participate in a SWAC tournament that is not already a current NCRPA member agency. A SWAC Sanctioned Organization has no voting privileges, may not hold office and the employees of said agency/organization shall not be considered as individual members of the Association under this classification.
Professional members not part of an agency or College/University package can purchase an Individual Professional membership for $65/person. Students that attend a college/university without this membership will be offered a $10 NCRPA student membership. For assistance with starting your agency membership, contact email@example.com.
