Athletic Directors Workshop
The Athletic Directors Workshop (ADW) will be held in Wilmington, December 4-6, 2018. Educational sessions and networking opportunities make this one of the premier educational events for park and recreation athletic staff in NC.

Nominate a deserving professional for the Meritorious Service and/or Young Professional. The Athletics Directors Steering Committee is looking for deserving candidates for the awards of Meritorious Service Award and Young Professional. If you know of recreation professional working in the Athletics Sector that is worthy of one of these awards, please submit the information pertaining to the criteria listen below. Criteria for Meritorious Service Award and Outstanding Young Professional
• Current member in good standing with NCRPA
• Current involvement in athletic programming as a full time professional
• Exemplary character in professional contributions and character
Meritorious Service Award: A Professional NCRPA member who has rendered services to the organization and the profession. This award will be limited to those persons having served as minimum of ten years as a full time employee in the park and recreation field as an athletic programmer.
Outstanding Young Professional: A NCRPA member who has rendered outstanding service in the field of athletics to the recreation profession on a local, state and/or national level. This award shall be limited to those persons having served at least two years, but no more than 10 years in the park and recreation field.
