Happy Monday!

Summer is in full swing and there are a ton of activities going on! Between sports, swimming, hiking and youth day camps, there are plenty of opportunities to be outside. Summer is also a perfect time of the year to live a healthy, active lifestyle outdoors. But as much fun as it can be, it is also important to remain safe!

My current blog discusses some safety guidelines created by The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). The guidelines introduce some tips and advice to keep children and adults safe while participating in outdoor and summer activities. Please read myblogfor more information.

Both adults and children should be out enjoying the sun! Following simple rules and guidelines can help encourage all participants to remain safe while getting plenty of exercise and fresh air.
