My current blog reflects on my time spent working at Camp Walt Whitman, a residential summer camp located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Walt Whitman, a 7 week overnight youth program, offers sports, swimming, ropes course, and art activities. During my summers as an employee there, I worked as a general counselor, a fitness specialist, assistant athletic director and unit leader for the middle school age group. All those positions helped increase my knowledge when it comes to motivating children to live healthy and active lifestyles. Read my blog to gather more ideas for some program activities for the youth!

Make sure to join us for the next Wellness Webinar, today at 1:00pm, to discuss more ideas for youth summer programs. Please note, if you have any youth program ideas or activities, then please email us or submit them on the wellness site here: (,
