Happy Monday,

The most recent Wellness Webinar that took place last Wednesday, March 25thand was hosted by Ellis Hamburger, Communications team at Snapchat, Inc. It was a very informational and motivating webinar focusing on the importance of physical activity for our overall health. According to the information provided by the webinar, the US adult average amount of steps-per day is 5900 steps, where we should be aiming for at least 10,000 steps per-day. Ellis discusses smartphone apps that provide tools and knowledge to be more active and which in-return will empower users and the community to become more active and health aware.

To read more about the smartphone apps contributing to a healthier and more active lifestyle, please click the following to my most recent blog:

If you would like to engage in the full webinar, then follow the link to listen to Ellis's words of motivation and advice:

Moving more is a lifestyle change, but is one that anyone can do! Challenge yourself and challenge your community! Ellis makes points about parking further from the door, getting off one bus stop earlier or going for a walk during a lunch break. Information should be continuously shared in your community through newsletters or social media. One step more is one step closer to leading a healthier life.

If you have any apps you would like to share, then please email us or submit them on the wellness site here: (,
