Wellness Bulletin Feb. 9, 2015

Happy Monday,

During the end of January, myself and the NCRPA office hosted a webinar discussing new program opportunities for the upcoming year. While brainstorming different program options, I focused on low-cost activities that took advantage of park systems and that could be offered for adults and children. One of those ideas was hosting a Family Game night, an idea that is easy to plan and can be run with few volunteers and staff members.

Check out the latest Wellness Blog for ideas to help you plan your own Family Game Night:

Please note that as we head into mid-February, our next webinar will be on Wednesday, February 25th, from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Scott Knox from Morrisville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources will provide general information regarding run groups and setting up 5k races. A great opportunity to learn more about program opportunities and run groups, especially since the Recre8 5K is starting to develop!

This month is full of good information, so stay tuned! If you have any new ideas for outdoor family programs, please emailus or submit them on the wellness site here:(,
