Staffing at Special Events
For departments who run Town wide Special Events (movie Nights, Concerts, Festivals, etc) how do you staff them? Do you have designated Part Time staff that only works events? Do you 'borrow' staff from other departments(athletics, programs, etc)? What is the starting pay rate for Special events? If they are "borrowed" from other departments is this pay rate different then their other pay rate?
Any advice would be appreciated.
