As we approach a new month, it is important to keep finding ways to help engage your department and community in an active and healthy lifestyle. The month of May is another perfect opportunity to do so, as it is dedicated to Global Employee Health & Fitness Month (GEHFM).The month of May is an international and national observance of health and fitness in the workplace.
My most recent blog discusses how your department can participate in the Global Employee Health & Fitness Month Challenge, as well as NCRPA’s #MeInMyPark social media contest. If your department needs inspiration then please check our Employee Wellness Programs webpage. The Employee Wellness Programs page contains information discussing successful examples of employee wellness programs across the state. Your department can have a chance to be recognized by NCRPA, as well as participate in the Global Employee Health & Fitness Month Challenge.
