I hope everyone has had a great weekend! This week, our wellness blog is about online fitness videos. Instead of the traditional workout tape, fitness instructors are posting their exercises online through services like YouTube for free. In 2014, YouTube reported that their viewers watched 5,500 years of yoga videos alone.  I often use online workout videos in my apartment when I can’t make it out to a fitness center. They are a great way to try new workouts with minimal to no equipment needed. Read the NCRPA Wellness Blog  to learn how your parks and recreation department can use online fitness videos.

Diquan’s Weekly Wellness Tip!


This week, my weekly wellness tip is a hike on the Buckquarter Creek Trail at Eno River State Park. The Buckquarter Creek Trail is a 1.5-mile riverside loop trail which offers great views of rapids. This trail is only a few minutes away from my apartment, so you can find me here pretty frequently!
