Walk with Ease Program Leader Training

The Arthritis Foundation is very pleased to be working with NCRPA to offer the Walk with Ease Program Leader Training. This program leader training is part of a project between the National Recreation and Park Association and the Arthritis Foundation to bring the Foundation’s physical activity programs to communities through local recreation and park departments. Healthy Eating Workshop - Greenville

As part of the Wellness Initiative, NCRPA is hosting a Healthy Food Workshop series in May at locations across North Carolina. These free, two hour workshops will cover nutrition guidelines, food safety considerations in sourcing and preparing produce, working with donated food, and provide an opportunity to learn more about produce suppliers in your area. NCRPA Region II Maintenance Workshop

Come and join us at the Jacksonville Parks Maintenance Building for an educational workshop about heat and cold weather survival, poisonous snakes, insects and plants, weed and disease identification, and pesticide use! (2.5 hours of pesticide credit) Registration
