Do you truly love the Park and Recreation profession? How do others feel about you as a leader/supervisor? Maybe deep down, the idea of supervising people scares you to death. Or maybe you feel that you have the natural gift of supervising and know all the tricks of the trade….Do you? This fast paced session will discuss ways in which you can lead and invest in the people around you, so that they have belonging, true purpose and a calling rather than merely a job with a paycheck. Leadership isn’t just about setting direction. Through real life situations using your own department as an example; understand the precepts of infusing your work with meaning and how to engage and energize your workforce. Your ultimate test is: Can you get your workforce and organization where you want it to go?
